Erin,

2 things. First, I thought of my wife when I thought of this. She's my best friend, confidant and I love to "just be" with her.

Second thing: Your trade in fantasy football this morning was a great trade. The only reason Ben Roethlesberger put up good numbers is because he played Cleveland, and you didn't need him as a 3rd string Q anyway. Best way to make a Fantasy Trade? Talk about how happy you are with the trade. Act like you practically stole the guy. Then say you wish you had more room for him in your starting lineup and trade him for something you DO need... Never get down on your guys though... make everyone believe that you think you have the best team and the best guys ever. If you need more advice, I'd be happy to teach you some fantasy football techniques.

The most true one on there is a guy saying "I Miss You." Once you say that to a girl, you had better be ready for her to be around all of the time. I'm not saying it's good or bad. It's just the way it is.

Great Blog!

Erin - I like the part about the guy not arguing because he knows he is wrong.

Can the same be said for women? Is it possible that sometimes they argue even harder when deep down inside they know they are wrong?

Erin,

So tell me with this blog (it was very true) how do you ask a complete stranger out in your eyes?

Hi Erin,

I'm sorry this has nothing to do with your blog post, but I can't find the contact email on the wkti.com site right now and I was inspired to write a note to you today.

I was having a really bad morning today and when I heard Matthew talking about your decision to go to Paris for Christmas I got a big smile on my face. I reluctantly started listening to you guys when you first started and I have to admit I am generally liking the show a lot. I really liked the personalities of the old show but you and Matthew have really grown on me in the last few months.

Anyway, I just wanted to join the chorus of people saying - GO TO PARIS! It would be insane to choose "bringing a Christmas tree home to hang out with your parents (who don't celebrate Christmas)" over a possibly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go to Paris.

You are young and single and you have nothing to lose. As you have said, you don't have anything tying you down right now, and you've always wanted to go. Chances are, there will not be another opportunity.

So go for it, and don't be scared. I have traveled a lot, not necessarily on my own, but it's not like you are going to Turkey. Lots of people will speak English in Paris and you'll be able to enjoy the food and wine and sights on your own schedule.

I can't wait to hear your stories in January!!!
