So the other day I found that article that talked about Milwaukee being an unfriendly dog city. MOst people thought that Milwaukee needed more dog parks. I agree....but I started getting dog lovers to call with organizations, events and websites for us lovers of the canines!!!

Here they are...

The Runway Dog Exercise Area near the airport. The Runway is 26 acres and completely fenced in so dogs can run free and play safe. There is also a separate fenced in area for small dogs and puppies.

Paws in the Park starts with the Cudahy Kennel Club AKC All-breed Dog Show Sat. - Sun. Aug. 10th - 11th and ends with on Sun. Aug. 12th with a fundraiser for the dog park from 10 am - 4 pm at Grant Park. This event includes:

Walk to raise money for local dog parks

Demos (herding, agility, flyball, etc.)

Games and contests for dogs

educational displays about responsible pet ownership

Hi Erin - I suggest you and Sexie check out Muttland Meadows in Grafton. It's just a great fenced in plot of land where you and your dog can both socialize, and your doggy can roam safely "leash-free". I always find someone nice to talk to when I'm there, and Coco always has fun too. It's about 20 minutes north of KTI, just a couple miles off I-43. My dog and I LOVE it! Let me know if you need directions.
